And now I wait

So after panicking and shoving my whole life into four bags in order to leave quickly i've been informed from my emergency evacuation company that they don't know when they can get me out...

Today?
Tomorrow?
Next week?

They can't tell me.

It seems like every foreigner in Japan is evac-ing as quickly as possible so tickets are getting hard to come by.

I hope I don't have to wait too long but at the same time at least I have a little bit more time to mentally prepare myself for going home and tie some things up here such as my cell phone, bank account, school stuff, etc.

When I do get home I still don't know what i'm going to do. No money, no car, no place to live (except friends and parents houses) and I don't know if I want to start into Spring term at PSU or wait until Fall starts.

Ugh, life.
Jamie

(But hey look! I'm on the local news in Portland! http://www.katu.com/news/local/118053924.html)

They called me at like, 6am when i was still in my panic mode so I didn't really know what to tell them. Hopefully I did alright though for those of you who saw it!

Hi Jamie, thinking of you and wishing you a safe and speedy journey home. I was friends with you mom, years ago. I think you and Devyn were about five years old, when I first met you. Hang in there
