Hi, first time I have had a chance to read your blog in a while. So interesting. Hope your trip goes as well as the first part. I bet you are having fun. Just take care of yourself and get as many pictures as possible. I liked your take on the upheaval in the mid east. I don't think they can start out with democracy as we know it, but if they can get to the point of being able to make their own individual choices, have more respect for civil liberties - letting the people have a say in their own choices i.e. personal lives, education and work. People don't understand that we have been doing this democracy thing for over 200 years and we are still having a problem with making it work just right. Our politicians are getting in the way of our constitution and they are really not listening to the what the people in America want. The ones who have things such as money, good life, medical coverage, and no worries other than wondering if their spouse is cheating, cannot understand what it is like to not have enough money to make ends meet, no health coverage and health care issues are immediate, and kids who you would love to go to college but are struggling to see how they can make it financially. Ultimate "slap" is our economy sucks and more people than ever are out of work with no jobs in site. Our politicians in our nation's capital can only fight and argue over what they individually think is right and don't seem to really care about fixing the problem. I feel the only person who has a handle of what needs to be done is our President but the Senate right wing will fight him all the way. I feel we are going to be the next Rome. I do agree a peaceful revolution would be helpful but it would take one hell of a lot of organization and the ability to not get violent. Well! I have said my peace.

You have a birthday coming up soon. Hey, you are getting older which means so am I.

Well go to go. Minor crisis that needs my attention. Hugs and love you loads. Grandma
