I just took my Japanese proficiency test for my university to decide which level Japanese to place me in...intermediate. But hey, not so bad for someone who hasn't studied since last winter term.
The only concern I have now is my year long supply of birth control making it through customs. There are three possible outcomes; 1) they won't check my bags and I go through no questions asked. 2) they will check my bags, I explain that I do have the right documentation for them, it's just in the possession of the person who is picking me up at the airport because the Pharmaceutical Inspector of Japan did not agree to overnighting the document to me but instead had it shipped to my address in Japan (i.e. My boyfriend). This being explained they will hold my prescription until I show them the document. 3) they search and destroy. No if, and or buts about it.
I'm hoping for the first one...please let it be the first one.
